Modesto Church of the Brethren

Each month features a special event for senior members (those 60 and over are welcome) of the congregation. Often these are lunch and a program at the church, but a few times each year the group takes a trip. Events are usually held on the third Tuesday of each month. Information on upcoming events is below.  Please join us.

April 13, 2010-  Spring Lunch Train: We will leave Oakdale for a three hour ride through the countryside.  A three course lunch will be served.  The cost per person is $60.  Registration is required by March 1st.  (See Margaret Johnson)

May 20, 2010-  Drive to Yosemite National Park with lunch at the Awahnee.  We plan to gather at 7:45am for this event.  More information on this trip will follow.  (See Chuck Messamer)

June 17, 2010-  Barbecue lunch at noon in the backyard of Bill and Margaret Johnson.
