Kids Peace Week 2017
Registration is now open for “Kids as Peacemakers” (Peace Week 2017). Cost is $15 per child, not to exceed $35 per family. We are accepting children who just finished any elementary grade, from K-6. Monday thru Friday, June 19-23, the children will meet from 9am-12pm for music, exercise, problem solving, artistic expression and learning to be “peacemakers” in our world. This year, we are partnering with “On Earth Peace” and joining their Children’s Mural Project. Watch for the finished product at a community event near you! You may also see it gracing the church front yard or the area near our labyrinth. Peace Week will culminate with FUN (Family Unity Night), Friday evening at 6:00, with a barbecue, a craft activity for the whole family, and a recap and unveiling of the Mural Project.
