Fall Harvest Festival
Fall Harvest Festival is back – with fun additions!
Saturday night, October 29th from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. come to the church for a festive time!
First, Fellowship & Recreation will provide the hot dogs/condiments and chili, table service, and drinks, you bring a side dish to share if you are able, and we’ll share in a simple meal to kick things off, (whether you roast a hot dog on the fire or get one already done for you!)
We will continue the fun with a costume parade, haunted house, and games for kids and youth. Persons of all ages who would like are invited to bring a Jack-o-lantern that is ALREADY carved for judging. Each person at the festival will get 3 tickets to vote for their favorite pumpkin by putting the tickets in jugs/buckets near them. Use all your tickets on one or divide them up! Also, although we will provide s’mores fixins for dessert that night, anyone who would like is invited to bring a fall or Halloween themed dessert for a silent auction where anyone can bid to receive/win the dessert to take home! Highest bid wins and the money from the fun will go to support our congregation’s ministry budget. We’ll end the night with s’mores and songs around the campfires.
Look for the sign-up at church to help us plan for food. We encourage those who can to bring a lawn chair. Invite family or friends, especially those with kids. Make sure you RSVP by Signing up OR Calling the Church Office so we can have enough food! (209)523-1438.
